Some pieces are more than jewellery, they’re personal milestones. I created this ring for myself a year and a half ago, during a season of reflection and quiet celebration. I wanted something bold, gold-heavy and deeply personal. A ring I could wear on my right hand as a reminder of growth, change and of everything I had navigated and created for myself.
Together, the three stones carry a meaning I’ve always loved: the past, the present and the future. This is a timeless concept in jewellery, cherished for generations, and to me it feels like a quiet promise, a way of honouring what has been, embracing what is, and welcoming what’s to come.
The colour harmony was intentional. I wanted tones that spoke to each other, pulling out the light and beauty in one another. At its centre sits a fancy-coloured brown diamond, chosen for its warmth and subtle magic. Flanking it are two champagne-coloured diamonds, chosen for their soft, golden glow perfectly complementing the richness of the centre stone.
To set the stones, I chose a bezel setting, a style I love and often return to in my designs. As one of the oldest setting techniques in jewellery history, it carries an antique feel, yet its clean lines make it feel distinctly modern. That balance of past and present felt like the perfect way to complete a ring built on the idea of past, present and future.
Since then, I’ve had the joy of creating many variations of this design for my clients, each one deeply personal, each stone representing a meaningful milestone or person in their lives. From children’s birthstones to moments of transformation, the rings tell their own impactful stories.
